マレーシアでマレーシア語、英語などを学習する目的で、学生ビザを取りたい方がたまにいらっしゃいますね。そこでごく簡単にStudent Passの情報を再録の形で載せておきます。いすれも当サイトの掲示板類に書かれたものです。あくまでも概説であり、掲載から漏れている部分もあることは承知しておいてください。尚マレーシアの担当官庁ではStudent Pass という分類を適用していますが、一般に言うStudent Visaのことですが、マレーシアにおいてはPass が正しい用法です。

Step 2 ・To Apply for a Student Pass
The process to apply for a student pass is simple. Malaysian education institutions of higher learning which offer international students like YOU a place to study at their institutions will apply on your behalf for the Student Pass. Applications will be submitted by the educational institutions to the Director of Pass & Permit Division, Immigration Headquarters. Students are not allowed to apply directly to the Immigration Department under this procedure.
The prospective students will be informed of their application status by the Immigration Department. They will be notified through the education institution within 1 month of the application, irrespective of whether it has been successful or not.
Therefore, students are not required to apply for a visa/student pass from the Malaysia Embassy/consulate office before proceeding to Malaysia. The educational institutions which enrol the students are responsible to make the necessary arrangement pertaining to immigration matters.
All applications, processing, approval and issuance of the Student Passes and Visas to prospective foreign students are done in Malaysia, except for students from the People痴 Republic of China (PRC). The PRC痴 nationals are required to obtain their Entry Visas from the Malaysian Embassy in Beijing, Guangzhou or Shanghai prior to their entry to Malaysia.

学生ビザはいわゆる街の語学学校ではまず取れないということです。商業ビルやショップロット街に時々、名前は何であれ、小さな語学学校がありますが、そういうところではまず学生パスが取れないでしょう。権威あるブリティシュカウンシルや世界にチェーン組織を持つELS、はカレッジの英語集中課程、国立大学開催のマレーシア語オープンコース並に、移民局（パス、ビザを許可する官庁）の認知が高いのでしょう。ただ３ヶ月程度の短期コースでビザが取れると思いません。（ビザ習得時に1年で申請して実際には半年しか学校へ行かない、そんな人もいるでしょう）
なぜなら学生がパスを申請する場合はそういう私立であれ公立であれ語学施設が学生に代わって申請するからです。移民局の認知が受けられないところではビザがおりないということです。
次ぎにImigresen の公式サイトのパス（官庁はPass と定義・使用している）要件からコピーしておきましょう
Applications must be submitted by the educational institutions to the Director, Pass and Permit Division, Immigration Headquarters, Pusat Bandar Damansara, 50550 Kuala lumpur. Students are not allowed to apply directly to the Immigration Department under this procedure.
Students are not required to apply a visa from malaysian Embassy / consulate office before proceeding to Malaysia. However a visa / student pass will be issued to student by the State Immigration Department within two weeks after their arrival. The Educational Institutions which enrolled students are responsible to make necessary arrangement pertaining to Immigration matters.
Educational Institutions are required to receive their students upon of arrival in Malaysia therefore students must furnish Educational Institutions about their flight details.
Upon arrival, students would be issued a Special Pass valid for Fourteens (14) days. Within this period, educational institutions would take students passport to State Immigration Departments for issuance of Student Pass / Visa
Fees for this transactions are as follows: Visa fees - between RM6.50 to RM100.00 depending on the countries. Student Pass fees - RM60.00 per year / part of it per student

ＥＬＳでビザのとれるフルタイムのコースは、8時半から３時半、毎月開講。４か月のコースでビザは半年分おりるそうです。日本人の場合、日本のマレーシア大使館でシングルエントリービザをとってからマレーシアに入国。学費支払い、ビザ手続きなどはその後でいいそうです。日本以外の国（たとえばネパール人なんか）の場合は、学費支払い、書類の郵送が先で、すべての手続きがすみビザがおりてからでなくては入国できません。（やっぱり日本人は得ですね）
観光客としてノービザで入国した場合後でシングルエントリー代５００リンギを支払うことになるそうです。ビジネス英語など、その他の授業を受けたい場合、夜別料金で受講可能。１、２か月の短期ならビザは取る必要はないとのこと。
住むところも斡旋可だそうです。info@els.edu.my 月８５０と本代１００も、フルタイムならそんなに高くないと思いますが。
ベルリッツなんかでは、ビザはおりないそうです。
フルタイムである程度金額を払うか、安くあげてビザを取りにシンガポールかタイまで出るか、どっちを選ぶかですね。それも楽しいですけど。
